| The port of Antwerp, an excellent location for chemical industry
Antwerp is located in Flanders, in the northern part of Belgium, and is the second biggest city in Belgium. During the early 1960's the Antwerp authorities developed the area to the north of the city for port, chemical and petrochemical operations. The port of Antwerp is now the largest petrochemical center in Europe.
